The Iowa State Chess Association (IASCA) is the official Iowa affiliate of the United States Chess Federation. IASCA, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1899. IASCA's current state champion is Daniel Brashaw. The highest-ranking member is Daniel Brashaw (2218 -- April 2015). The president, of this organization, is Eric Vigil.
